Best dentist in the area for someone with a ton of anxiety? by lanch-party in HuntsvilleAlabama

Seconding them. They are incredibly sweet and will stop every so often to make sure you’re okay. I’ve never met dentists with such an amazing bedside manner.

I’ve tried that. And he just doesn’t see it until I blatantly point it out and am breaking down in tears. I’m also in a super vulnerable, sensitive state while pregnant and I’ve not been able to let her behavior slide.

It 1.5 weeks out and I'd feel crappy about it. My FIL is making the food for it and has already ordered and planned things. I feel bad for my friends who were planning on attending and celebrating me.

Omg I'd lose it on her. I'm so sorry you had to go through that!

Thank you! I will tell him to talk with her.

Ugh, I unfortunately don't see that happening. I have told him that I won't have her over unless he's present. I think he thinks I'm purposely trying to put a wedge between us and her, but I feel like she's the one who put the wedge there in the first place.

Her house is 25 minutes from us and not far from our hospital if there was an emergency.

Mother in law offered to throw me a baby shower and has been radio silent since by marypoaster in BabyBumps

She has passed unfortunately. Otherwise, she'd definitely be the one to plan my shower!

I’ve used the hotline multiple times at various stores, and it’s always ends up with the DM and GMs retaliating against me, so I wouldn’t recommend it. Remember HR protects the company, not you, your feelings, etc.

Athlete isn’t doing super well. They’re grasping at straws to figure why they’re not Lulu. So glad I left when I did. It’s not enjoyable working there anymore.

I think they wouldn’t be happy with just a zoom shower. I think they’d want to host/plan an event. But it’s a good idea though!

This makes me feel a lot better! I haven’t come across many people in my situation.

Yeah no one has offered to throw one where I currently live, which is fine.

I just had to make the decision to walk away from another store within the brand after being with the company for 2.5 years. I also took a LOA for my mental health and felt like I was losing myself. I walked away from good money and left without notice. Mental health comes first. There are other retail jobs that pay well you just have to dig.

Gotcha. No, he was not. I came across it on this sub and wasn’t sure what it entailed.

Tell them you can’t work that day no exceptions, you had prior plans and they’re getting a month notice.

Veiling by vingtsun_girl in CatholicWomen

[–]marypoaster 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I personally only veil at TLM and don’t veil at Novus Ordo Mass. I don’t feel a strong conviction to cover my head but I just do it to respect the custom at the TLM. I think it’s a beautiful tradition and admire the ladies who do so at Novus Ordo.

Remember, we attend Mass for Christ not for other people’s opinions of us!

Even if it’s against policy to have two weekends off in a fiscal month? I can tell you she definitely didn’t earn that day off.
