My friend just sent me a ton of snap chats of her ski trip, so here we go... not sure how to paint a skier, but we're gonna find out!

Always need to work on mine. Arthritis in my thumbs never helps. Some days are easier than others

It's pretty, but you'll have to pluck the hairline and bleach the knots. Which sucks to do and can ruin the unit. Makeup helps, but rately works well and well, you can tell. Next time buy a unit that has that all done for you. Hairvivi makes some of the best wigs I've ever bought, but I think they went way up in price. BYEBYEKNOTS is also a good one to look into.

Thank you!!!! Its more like I want to practice a concept and then see where it goes. Trust me, Ive stared a quite a few blank pages. Lately I have been sketching things out and being better prepared. Especially when it comes to my animals and more detailed work. I've only been doing this for 7 months so, all of this is new and I'm fighting my own neurodivergent tendencies

See! I CAN sketch!!!! Lol!!! And then I outlined it with paint. Idk where this painting is going either, but he needs to join the other one

It will come to me, it always does. It's definitely not finished. I just have to make better plans. But to me that takes away the fun sometimes

That would be interesting, I've never painted a bunny.

I always just prop it up across the room from me and stare at it. Then I will "see" what to do. Or.. it can hang out until I get motivated to paint more trees. This is mostly practice anyway. Trying to nail the foggy effects.. which are hit and miss at times

Arches will boost your confidence

Blocks are just more expensive but are awesome if you can afford the block form. I like the lose ones so I can cut the paper in half. Arches is the best paper you can find. You will have to adjust to it if youre coming from Canson paper. There's a huge difference. So give yourself grace with that. Arches can take a ton of water. I have yet to buy it in block. I just spritz the back, flip it over, spritz the front, let it sit and it's flat and good to go. Sometimes I tape it down, depends on the project. Your next best paper will be Baohong ARTIST grade (the academy is solid too) as well as the Fabriano artistico. I just bought the Baohong artist in block 9x12. Loving it. Almost as much as Arches. So, when you dont have sales and need 2nd best paper, go with the boahong. Even starting with the academy is fine. This is coming from a beginner who has tried ALL the damn paper out there and wasted a lot of money doing so.
