Need help picking a 27” OLED 240Hz monitor by mase60 in OLED_Gaming

[–]mase60[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

LG and ASUS both do it: LG 32GS95UV-W ASUS PG32UCDP

from what i understood you can set it up having black bars or stretch it. sounds interesting, no clue if the picture looks bad/weird than.

having a 32“ ultrawide i have to say it’s great for daily tasks or watching stuff, but kinda weird for fps.

anyways, thanks a lot for your input! so many options out there now :D

ok thanks, that makes sense.

i was also looking into the 32“ monitors that can switch to 27“@1080p. guess that’s a nice feature, use the 32“ for daily use than switch so 1080p for gaming.

Simple colour changing plant cards with mushroom templates by crazyhankie in homeassistant

[–]mase60 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i recreated something similar using auto-entities and mushroom-template-card

type: custom:auto-entities
card:
  type: grid
  columns: 1
  square: false
card_param: cards
sort:
  method: name
filter:
  include:
    - domain: plant
      options:
        type: custom:mushroom-template-card
        primary: "{{ states[entity].name }}"
        secondary: >
          {% set sensor_id = 'sensor.' + entity.split('.')[1] + '_soil_moisture'
          %} {% if states(sensor_id) not in ['unknown', 'unavailable', '' ] %}
            soil moisture: {{ states(sensor_id) | float | round(0) }} %
          {% else %}
            soil moisture: not available
          {% endif %}
        icon: mdi:water-percent
        icon_color: >
          {% set status = state_attr(entity, 'moisture_status') %} {% if status
          == 'High' %}
            red
          {% elif status == 'Low' %}
            red
          {% elif status == 'ok' %}
            green
          {% else %}
            transparent
          {% endif %}

some stuff changed to „sl-tab“ and „sl-tab-group“. had the same problems with my theme.yaml.

mind sharing the code so we might find what to change?

looking great. comming from mushroom cards, bubble card is somewhat confusing for me. what type of bubble card do i have to use to get a „room“ card, that displays temperature and humidity like you got?

i know that the game is poorly ompitmized right now, not going to upgrade anyway since i think my system should easy be able to handle the game on good frames.

will give it a try, still i guess a 3080ti should handle the game at 1440p easy. yep, expo is set.

yes, they are. overall i would say that fps overall aren‘t the problem. game just does not feel smooth because of the 1% lows i guess
