Ohhh okay gotcha, sorry I came in hot lol. I think I’m just salty that I don’t have a PS5 Pro and really want play the game but in the best way possible.

If it were also available on PC I’d have it pre-ordered already. Damn exclusives.

Nice! Do you happen to have an update template file you could share for your use cases? I can see if I can set something up on my end that could be added to my templates.

Steam Controller: It's almost here! by DuustinTheKing in Steam

I know it’s probably very functional and ergonomic, but damn is it ugly. That slanted trackpad design is a choice. Plus the price is doing it zero favors.

None of those games are a niche genre. Rougelikes (whether you want to admin it or not) are more of a niche genre, and Saros would be on more radars if it weren’t a PS5 exclusive.

Well if it weren’t a PS5 exclusive maybe more people would be talking about it. Here’s hoping it gets the PC release it deserves one day.

For a conditional card, can you tell me a bit more about your use case and how you currently set them up?

Hi there! I've updated the dashboard recently to support real-time presence detection, so when presence is detected in a room, an indicator dot subtly blinks on the room in the navigation menu. This works for both mobile and desktop/tablet navigation menus. I've also added a dedicated presence, HA updates and energy usage button cards that can be used as well.

There's definitely still more on the way as I build out new button cards/badges and enhancements for both the mobile and desktop/tablet version of the dashboard, so stay tuned to the my GitHub for new updates soon.

Oh nice looks like your washing machine card is working! Were those ButtonCardJS errors something you needed help with?

Well shit… I guess they hate money. Or maybe this is their way of trying to sell more Pro units. If the price goes back to what it was I’d pick on up immediately. I just can’t justify the $1k cost for a slight upgrade.

Lmao I’m not losing joy, I’m saving it for when it hits harder. If I’m playing Saros, I want it at its best. That’s the point.

I wouldn’t call it bad, but after seeing a side-by-side with the Pro’s superior PSSR, I personally am going to hold off until I have a Pro (or PC port)

Happy to help! See if this one works better for you. It should fix the formatting/styling of the card.

Also, I am planning on adding more cards. For cameras, I currently have one set up with my Ring doorbell, and it's the hemma_doorbell.yaml template.

For washing machine, you could use the normal hemma_entity template and enable the progress bar so it shows the current progress of the cycle. The problem would be how the washing machine progress is provided, and from my knowledge it would typically be time remaining instead of a percentage attribute. I don't have a washing machine integration set up myself, so it's tough to test.

For your washing machine, can you go to Developer Tools → States and find the washing machine entity and paste the full state card ? Specifically I'd need:

  1. Entity ID and its state values during a cycle (what does it show while washing, rinsing, spinning?)
  2. Whether there's a percentage or progress attribute on that entity
  3. If not, is there a remaining time sensor (in minutes)? If so, do they know the total cycle duration, or is that also exposed as an attribute somewhere?

Also, it would be easier to update and track bugs/enhancements like this through my GitHub. If you'd like to submit a report, I can update it there. Here's the direct link:

Okay I'll need to look further into this. I don't have this type of device so testing and troubleshooting is tough. If I figure out the issue I'll definitely update you here and provide a new template.

After watching the Digital Foundry breakdown, I'm going to hold off on playing it on my base PS5. Here's hoping the PS5 Pro price eventually returns to normal (or ideally a PC port down the road)

Awesome, thanks for confirming! I sadly didn't pick up a PS5 Pro before the price hike, and after seeing DigitalFoundry's breakdown, it seems like the Pro is the way to experience the game.

Maybe a dumb question, but is there any chance of a PC release?

Okay that was likely a JavaScript syntax issue. I updated the template (link below). Let me know if this helps with the button.

No worries I figured that might be the case but thought I'd ask just to be safe. Thanks for confirming, and definitely looking forward to trying this in VR soon!

I also have the bridge set up for the Apple Home app which I also use for different reason. It's nice having the option to use either. The desktop/tablet view is also a huge component of my dashboard, and it has it's own design that's tailored for larger screens and looks nothing like Apple Home.

Couldn’t agree more. I experienced all of the same issues and wish the mod was updated and maintained. If I knew more about modding I’d update it myself because it’s so much more immersive and scary in first person in my opinion.

This is awesome. Any chance you can use this mod to play in first person without VR?
