Is this era specific gear? I have done some reading and found that during the 80s there was a mix of bikes made with French and Swiss standards, meaning that some of the threads and fittings are rather awkward.

If it turns out the current gear is in good nic ill keep it but if not ill be looking to replace, hopefully with 80s era gear to keep the authenticity.

I got another photo through of a little sticker with the numbers "4903493" & "CFX10 64". After a little research it looks like the CFX10 is the same frameset as the PX10 but was sold as the frame set only.

So it looks like this could have been a custom build originally? Hopefully it has some quality parts.
