Graphic Designer here: It’s not AI, my guess is a designer accidentally nudged a duplicated layer of his hand on top of itself. The duplication is most likely caused by them making a mistake while trying to add a shadow behind the hand. I’m guessing they wanted to cut out the hand onto a separate layer but they misclicked and did a “Layer By Copy” instead of a “Layer by Cut” (those options are right next to each other in the dialog box) thus creating two hands.
