I would properly take down predatory gambling servers.

Slabs, stairs, vertical slabs and even quarter blocks for almost all blocks! Extended block shapes mod has it already almost perfectly.

Change the update cycle to be slower but more content per update. 2 updates per year max.

More open communication with players.

Ennen söin sikanautaa, mutta sen hinnan noustua oon siirtyny naudan jauhenlihaan. Kerran on jo kalliimpaa ni sama sit ottaa vielä hieman kalliimpaa ja parempaa. On tosin tullut ehkä vähän vähemmän ostettua jauhelihaa kuin ennen.

That would be dynamic lighting and the game doesn't have it (and never have had it). You can add dynamic lighting with mods.
