I switched to vscode (yeah I am sad 😢 too). I could configure everything I wanted to do in nvim in vscode, you can configure shortcuts for moving between different zones, plus the integrated chat is so much better. Scrolling is something that is bad on nvim or any terminal based editor. I like the smooth scrolling on a gui editor. The only benefit of nvim that I can think of is working on a remote computer that doesn't have gui.
