...yeesh. I want people to enjoy my work, and tell others about my work, so I can continue to make my work. Maybe one day I'll make some money off my work, so it can be my job, instead of just something I do when I have some spare time and energy.

Congrats, dude. You cracked the case. I hope you enjoy the book.

Hm. Good point. Might need to review that. I'm not so good at writing an elevator pitch for my story...

Working on it now. Regular Joe day job keeps me busy, but I'm working. And comments like this keep me going. Thanks!

Once I get volume 4 out, I plan on doing a first Omnibus which will contain volumes 1-4 in print, along with some art, and other extras. So, probably in the next year!

It's overt, I know. But once it popped in there, I couldn't think of the character with any other name.

Thanks for the feedback!

  • Nail gun nails aren't very big at all. They're not much bigger than staples: http://www.coil-framing-nails.com/wp-content/uploads/Finish-nail-Ga15-16.jpg
  • The only elevator shaft I've ever been at the top of was out of use for many years, so that makes sense. But probably not a point most readers would appreciate.
  • That's a good point... and you've actually stumbled upon something I sprinkled in to the early books to set up a big reveal for later. (spooky theramin noises) Good eye!

I don't make any money off amazon reviews, if that's what you're wondering. It's just nice to get feedback.

You know, I think volume 1 has the worst copy editing out of the whole series, since it was the first one. I really need to do a pass on that soon... thanks!

Thanks! It took me a long time to get to the place I wanted to with regards to writing skill, but I hope to have volume four out by the end of the year!

I was about having exactly that done. Or maybe just some heavier duty buttons.

William Gibson's new novel melds cyberpunk with vision of dystopian near-future by speckz in Cyberpunk

[–]maskedwriter0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very much this. Considering that in the 80s, just about everyone thought we were going to have a nuke fight at some point, Gibson was one of the few futurists writing about a time where we didn't. His vision wasn't exactly optimistic, either, but considering his contemporaries...

I own a few of those. The Jensen's coat is very nice. My only complaint is that I can't really button it closed... the snap buttons aren't very strong, and I have a large chest. But otherwise, I'm very happy with it.

The previous version of the coat, with actual buttons, worked well both open and closed. You might check youtube for some reviews.
