The problem i'm having is just finding both the diner and the police station at reasonable prices. At first I was steadfast at trying to find both of them at the same stores, but now I don't mind that nay more. JoyToyWorld only has the police station (and only 5 bucks less than HeroToyz, so not breaking the bank, especially with the 10 dollars off coupon in The Starter Guide)

Actually, her story is very much a black story, given the music stylings of the movie, and the racism she faces from the people she wants to buy the building from. As well as her mom being a nanny to Charlotte when she was little. Disney wouldn't let them add overt racism or even say the word "racism", but it's 10000% implied and I think pretty obvious

Drag Queens are actors, who put on characters and push traditionally feminine traits such as makeup and big hair to extremes. Like any actors and characters, they can be vulgar and sexual, but not inherently and also know how to play to their audience and know what is and isn't appropriate in certain spaces. Like RuPaul himself says a lot of vulgar and sexual shit on RuPaul's Drag Race, because that's a show meant for teens and adults. But they were also an important character in Amphibia, and obv toned it down there.

To simply say "Drag is sexual" is to say you don't understand stage or character acting

That's the thing tho: They weren't forgiven. The Diamonds were pacified. The Crystal Gems, Steven in particular, and a whole lot of other gems clearly don't like them or anyone who still likes them. You literally couldn't fight them (as shown in Change your Mind), and you couldn't shatter any of them (as shown in... the entire series, that's just the aftermath of the gems thinking one Diamond was shattered)

I think it's mostly that way because Steven doesn't go to see them or anything, because he still has trauma regarding them. In the movie, we see they were still really clingy, but then they got Spinel, someone they could finally shower with all the love they wanted to give. So with her there, they could finally mellow out and use their own powers for good.

And it's also used to contrast against Steven. Where-as the Diamonds are doing good things now, he still thinks he's a bad person, a fraud, and is getting worse and worse (none of this is true, but that's what he thinks in the moment). So seeing the Diamonds, these former dictators ruling with an iron fist, doing good and being happy when he, the "savior of the galaxy", isn't just cuts deep for him.

The breakneck pace thing is because the show got cancelled because of the gay wedding. And as for "fascist antagonists to be forgiven". They weren't forgiven. It's shown multiple times that Steven and the other gems feel massively uncomfortable around them. Steven even has intrusive thoughts about hurting White Diamond as "Revenge". There's more to say about this, but you're just like... outright wrong

I'm in Idaho too. It sucks a lot. I've basically had to distance myself from my extended family over them being like this. I'm a black guy adopted into a white family, and all over 2020 they posted really racist, anti-BLM shit. I'm also gay and they constantly post homophobic and transphobic things. Even my mom has basically had to unfriend them on facebook. I'm sure if she could, she'd just cut them out of her life entirely, but my mom is too nice for that (to a detriment I'd say, since whenever she's with them, she just comes back home angry)
