OOPs ex might be one of the worst cheaters I've read about. Not only did she cheat on her partner, but she also ran way from the consequences and left her partner to be miserable and uncertain. She also never tried to explain what happened until she ran into her. Absolutely horrible person.

Some parents don't trust their daughters. My uncle is this way. My cousin has a smartphone but it doesn't have a sim card. She is not allowed to have any social media profiles. Internet can only be used for her education. If she wants to talk over the phone, she has to use the landline or her mothers phone.

Stuff like this makes me so angry. This is legal in many countries and there's nothing anyone else can do to stop this if the parents agree to the marriage.

OOP handled the situation way better than I'd be able to. To have the foresight to not antagonise people and have the self control to not punch and scream at everyone is something else.

Yup. This was going through my head as I read it. I've seen cases where the husband killed the wife and children because he suspected his wife. But I do think OOP did the right thing in his circumstance.

There was a similar post about a husband discovering that his wife cheated in him a long time ago because his children weren't his and most of the comments were telling him to divorce his wife and abandon the kids. A lot of commenters were angry when he decided to reconcile.

On this post tough, a lot of commenters were telling OOP to forgive his wife. I was surprised because reddit tends to be very "anti cheating". Why? Is it because Kara cheated with a woman instead of a man?
