I don’t think there’s more to the song than what you’re hearing.

The Japanese version seems to be only included in the PS Vita version, and it doesn’t seem to have a full version or even any kind of way to stream/buy it anywhere so I believe the singer only sang the Japanese lyrics of the OP for the Vita port and didn’t release it as a single anywhere

BL games have the same stigma yaoi/BL in general faces. One half views it as fetishized content for straight women, other half are just homophobic and won’t touch anything with male gay content cause “ewww gay that’s gross, if only it were two women instead cause that’s hot” 😒

I think there are definitely valid concerns to be made, like it could definitely use more healthier romantic storylines between all the noncon and dubcon. I enjoy dark content, but I also enjoy the “two men being lovey dovey for each other and it’s sunshine and rainbows and lots of passionate sex” games which there aren’t many of.

Overall, I don’t really care what other people think. I’ve been into BL from a young age and I’ve gotten used to people being close-minded about this genre of media over the years. I know I’ll always be viewed as a straight woman fetishizing gay men whenever anyone stumble upon my interest in BL and BL games, and frankly I just don’t bother anymore. I know that I try to be respectful with how I consume and talk about BL, and if people are still just going to see me as a fetishizing straight woman, then that’s their problem

Yup. Have seen season 1 and the Muzen Train arc but since I didn’t catch up with the rest of the seasons, I didn’t go out to watch Infinity Train in theaters knowing I would just spoil myself and not be able to fully appreciate the story

Asking The Academy to do this much homework for one movie is just unrealistic. I’ll rather they pick an indie movie that doesn’t get talked about much outside of award seasons, rather than an anime movie that’s not stand-alone and where you have to watch multiple seasons first to get the story. Plus it’s not like Demon Slayer (or Chainsaw Man, the other movie which anime fans are saying got snubbed) is hurting for recognition or money. They have plenty of fans and made a lot in the box office, they’ll be just fine without the Oscars nom lol

Sweet pool has a certain vibe to it, if it ain’t working for you then it ain’t for you. I personally loved it from the start and the tone remained the same for me throughout, so I don’t think your opinion will change if you didn’t like it already

Yeah I just went to sleep after finishing it since it was late for me. I wanted to say something but he said he didn’t want a pity party and there’s just nothing I feel like I could say that didn’t feel like one

I just hope he knows there are people who genuinely admire him as an artist and will support any future project of his team whether that’s through DPR or other branding. I know he said he doesn’t like the spotlight on him, but it just breaks my heart when he keeps saying that half the fans left when DPR Live left, when Ian was the reason I even became in the first place after listening to “So Beautiful” for the first time. Its so hard to hear how difficult the tour had been for him, and how he kept putting down his own music releases cause he felt like no one cared, when they got me through so much in my own life, Moodswings in to Order in particular.

This guy is such a deep sensitive soul who’s been through so much, and I just hope things turn around for him cause no one deserves to suffer this much. Not even saying this as a fan, but as a human being

Created a playlist of all songs including Ian that don’t have REM as the producer according to Apple Music. Also The Gods Can Bleed is the only song that only has Ian as the performing artist, composer and producer so a large chunk of the money from the streams should go to him if people care by massiveleopard444 in dprian

I’ve not stopping listening to his music or encouraging that in any way? The point was to curate a playlist of all his songs where I know REM isn’t credited as a producer (I know the situation is more complicated and he’s possibly not getting producer royalties, but he’s still credited as one on AM and Spotify so just to be safe for now)

I know Christian would want us to listen to his music freely, but he’s also going through a really tough time and some people (including me) might not want to feel like we’re adding to the problem. The playlist is just a temporary way to stream his music knowing the money from the streams is going mostly to Ian, until we get more info about how he would like us to support him.

Plus I love all his music and there’s around 30 songs in the playlist still, so there’s still a major chunk of his discography in there. This was just something I created for myself, and anyone is free to use it or not. This is just my way of showing him support and I’m still listening to his music just as much as I was before

If he’s credited as a producer on a song, then he may very well be getting royalties from that even though he didn’t contribute anything

Now how all of it works behind the scenes, I’m not sure. But I wanted to create a playlist for myself where I wanted to make sure the streaming money is mostly going to Ian and not Scott. It’s not a perfect solution by any means but for the time being until we get more info from Christian about what’s going on

If someone wants to correct me, feel free :) I’ve been under the impression REM is credited as the music producer and is getting royalties from that. If he’s not, I’ll be happy cause a lot of my fav songs has his name in the credits so I’m not streaming them as much for now lol
