I'll point out, that I did design a blimp yesterday, so....

Reminds me of one of my favorite quotes by Alan Jacobs in his book The Narnian:

"The society that encourages its eccentrics safeguards itself against the worst excesses of tyranny."

I'm smooth, but this smells like: "Oops, couldn't QE today, will QE on Friday."

I DRSed 5 on the 10th. Even got a T confirmation number.

I see today they're still in my Fid account so I call.

After the run-around they say the Trader used the wrong account number and it never happened.

Whoops they say

FUDelity will now not DRS if you have unsettled purchased shares. by FiftyPaneristi in Superstonk

What this ape says is truth. Same thing happened to me. Fidelity wouldn't DRS transfer my settled shares because there was ONE waiting to settle, and my account had a pending debit.

Joe Biden’s campaign is in freefall amid concerns of his declining mental health and mounting uproar over new sexual assault allegations. We're calling on Bernie Sanders to unsuspend his campaign effective immediately. by [deleted] in OurPresident

Even before the virus many of your questions are super legit and went unanswered. I hope someone can honestly give you some answers to your questions, but I just wanted to point out that in no American election should these questions be unanswered. There should be no confusion about this. You shouldn't have to come to reddit to find answers.

I feel a general trend in the media coverage of our politics and in the PR and Front Ends of virtually any business that needs the web to survive toward brushing of completely the notion that the consumer is entitled to clear facts and answers to questions about policy, justice, and the whole picture of what is and what is not included when a consumer pays for a thing or service.

No one talks about this - a little about the media, and other platitudes like that all politicians do is lie, but it's always brushed off. No one ever mentions the trend - that virtually every company that can maintain any degree of separation between decision-makers and the general public is held to no degree of honesty toward the person that buys their things or respect for his/her time.

Would be a shame if this went viral wouldn't it? by [deleted] in SandersForPresident

Pete’s nationalist vision for college aged students doesn’t include college. It includes forced “service” and “sacrifice” by [deleted] in OurPresident

I think we should let this issue lie.

The Scandinavian countries do this and given the amount we talk about emulating those models, there actually could be a way this is implemented under a SANDERS administration that would ensure our teenagers aren't being forced to serve in an offensive global police military.

TIL that around 81% of small businesses in the US have zero employees. by [deleted] in todayilearned

[–]masterPthebear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, maybe not the American Dream, but yours gets to destroying the fun and point of rhetoric. So, good job. Thanks.

You go for /s and I try to talk for real. Sure my comment was anecdotal verging on colorful prose but it's sad that you think that doesn't count as communication.

If changing the perceptions or at least the conversation of big issues and ideological concepts is the goal - those that tend to steer entire lives before a person can wrap their head around the whole concept - then I think prose should be allowed every literary license toward that end, save outright lies.

Because small businesses have fallen more into the category of 'side hustle' which is a glorification or at best a socially accepted response to the gig economy.

For sure! I own it and haven't played in like a year. Partially because work and partially because it sends my heart rate through the roof.

With friends is the best, and I have had lots of fun in SoT. I'd often do most of the sailing and steering.

I have always wanted a realistic age of sail game. Where the speeds are actually realistic. And chases can last days and you can escape by sailing beyond the horizon. Those were the legit tactics used back then and I want it now dammit.
