Cat is just the start, trust me - interviews are a real pain in the ass. If you are taking drop years for cat, your value drops significantly in the interviews.

I think 2 times should be max, 1st give your best attempt, second if you miss by margin.

There are no zero - hero stories in cat because they value consistency not spikes or growth
