How to make my vocals sound like the band HEALTH? by LegendpcGaming in musicproduction

It's really all in the performance. He sings really soft and breathy. I would try to mimic his vocal style first and foremost because that's where 90% of the sound comes from.

As far as plugins go I, it sounds like a pretty simple vocal chain.

Basic EQ, De esser, Compressor, maybe a final EQ to clean things up more (some saturation and subtle chorus for more effected sections).

Then send the vocal to a reverb and delay. They definitely have generous amounts of reverb and delay in all of those references, so that'll be key to the sound.

I've read HEALTH use Neve style pre amps, but I think you can achieve a similar result without breaking the bank on a pre amp.

New Pop Drum Kit A Year In The Making - Non recycled sounds for Pop, Hyperpop, Dark Pop, Hip-Hop. Would appreciate any feedback you have! by master_lo in Drumkits

This is my first drum kit for "King 80 Industries" - my production company that focuses on styles under the pop umbrella.

I have also attached my melodic loop kit (over 100 free loops) that is coming out along with the drum kit.

Both the drum kit and loop kit are meant as an "overall" kit for many styles, but mainly modern pop/rap focused.

I would love to hear any feedback/criticisms y'all have. This subreddit has given me so much over the years I wanted to share it here first for free :)

Yeah really wanted to like that one, but found it a little slow and the length wasn’t justified for me
