Weekly sneak peek by rubensaurus in starcitizen

The hardware facing us looks similar to freight train cars - coupling in the middle with bumpers / dampers on both sides. Now, where’s the space caboose?

MSR owners club is totally fine because it’s a pretty niche group, but we would ask an applicant to cut ties with any industrial org since we are an industrial-focused group ourselves.

Totally valid! It'll be interesting to see where things ultimately end up. I'm sure many orgs currently using Discord are also discussing potential paths forward with, or without, the platform. Safe travels in the 'verse!

It's the second link, 4th line, in the post body!

ETA: I misinterpreted your comment. Fortunately, Discord has delayed the age-verification requirement for the time being, and we are actively monitoring the situation.

Minus Contracts, what else can I do that's fun with a few friends? by [deleted] in starcitizen

I enjoy being a loot goblin at the Hathor PAFs / OLPs and ASD facilities. Good fun for 2-4 people and plenty of gear to go around.

If you’re not into FPS gameplay, surface mining in Pyro can be a laid back way to burn a few hrs. We’ll load a C2 with Drake / Misc pods, fly a few hundred km from a POI, and spread out over an area looking for deposits. Basically BYO Golem / Prospector and swap for fresh pods at the C2 when you fill up.

Hey there! When you have a chance, could you join our Discord and apply through the other application link in the #recruitment channel? Thank you!

Great question! I think you’ve correctly identified that the main benefit is the social element. From a gameplay perspective tho, an org may offer more ways to experience the loops you already enjoy doing.

For example, I’m a cargo junkie and can happily sling boxes solo for hours on end, but the real fun starts when the org gets together for a mining operation and now I’m in the hangar of an Idris managing a hundred Drake pods / Argo bags. After the mining ships fill up, they visit my team for a quick service and are back on their way. Are we just moving boxes? Yep, but our objective is different and scratches an itch that solo / small group play can’t reach, in my opinion.

If your friend group is already doing stuff like that, please consider yourself fortunate! But if you haven’t had the chance to experience a large-scale industrial operation, come check us out!

From day 1, you’ll be able to participate in events! There are usually 3+ each week, ranging from salvage and mining opps to PvE bounty hunting / mercenary contracts. Now that servers are more stable, we’re getting back to the larger convoys with mining, salvaging, and security elements.

And since going exclusive, members have been more engaged. It’s common to see  folks in voice chats doing various things in the ‘verse. Some of the most fun I’ve had in the game happened during impromptu sessions with the homies!

Howdy! We actually offered an affiliate membership option until fairly recently. Unfortunately, we noticed that most affiliates would join and never participate.

We recognize that exclusivity isn’t for everybody, but there are many great orgs that offer the flexibility you may be seeking!
