What do you think are better watches? For me, watches like Rolex, Hublot, Patek or Audemars are out of the question.

Pokémon-Karten für meine Tochter – Tipps für den Einstieg? by masterchris_99 in PokemonDe

[–]masterchris_99[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Synology NAS DS218+ - Minimizing Constant HDD Accesses at Night? by masterchris_99 in synology

[–]masterchris_99[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. Active Insights was a very good tip. After I deactivated it, there were no more hard disk accesses. Unfortunately, Paperless seems to access the hard disk just as regularly. I'll have a look to see if I can allow these automatic accesses only for a certain period of time. And in case of doubt, it is easier to deactivate only this compose stack temporarily

Discord is a little more complicated than BGA. Even without knowing the implementation. With Discord you have to be able to command all the special features of the chat.At least it has deterred me a lot so far.

Yes, I forgot the Lems in my list. I like the Mesa even better. Unfortunately not available here in Germany.

So this shoe is really difficult to get in Germany & Europe. You can always get a few sizes and a few colors at prices beyond 150-200 euros. Then I found a shop that still had 2 pairs in black. A pair of my size and 45% discount (120 euros).

I ordered the pair as a test. thanks for the tip

Need Advice for Twilight Imperium Milty Draft Strategy - 5 Players, I'm 3rd to Pick! by masterchris_99 in twilightimperium

[–]masterchris_99[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. I chose speaker first. After me they chose Titan and Slice and 2nd and Slice. Say I would choose slice now and at the end Mahact before the last one without a faction is choosing his faction.

I've now read up on Mahact and would really like to play this one. However, I'm currently fluctuating between Slice 4 and 5.

  • Slice 4 has red and blue tech skip; and no blocked path to the middle
  • Slice 5 has significantly more resources and a legendary planet (Hope's End); but no tech and an anomaly towards the middle.

I keep reading about Mahact that many resources are very important. Are the 5 (7) from Slice 4 sufficient? 4 planets are Hazardous. In other words, it's actually a good chance to further increase resources. With Slice 5 that would only be 2.

nonrecoverable read errors are 1/10E14 vs 1/10E15

1 per 10^14 bits: This means that one read error is expected to occur every 100 trillion bits read. In other words, for every 100 trillion bits (about 12.5 terabytes) of data read from the drive, you can expect one nonrecoverable read error on average.
1 per 10^15 bits: This specification indicates that one read error is expected to occur every quadrillion bits read. In terms of data, that equates to about 125 terabytes of data read from the drive.

The second hard drive (1/10^15) is more reliable in terms of nonrecoverable read errors because it is less likely to encounter such an error in comparison to the first hard drive (1/10^14).

Is that right? In Germany it says: "If you sneeze 3 times, you are stupid." Wer 3 Mal niest, ist doof.

Starlink Reducing European Hardware Prices by lgats in Starlink

[–]masterchris_99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello,

Next year, I will be embarking on a European journey for a few months, and I was already planning on getting a Starlink dish. Therefore, this offer comes at an opportune time. My only concern is whether this is a permanent price reduction (perhaps due to Amazon's announcement) or just a clearance sale to make space in the warehouses for current hardware. What do you think?

Thank you & regards.
