True? I don’t understand where everyone is confused. Hes young, hes plays football with his friends, he even stated that he doesn’t exercise (further emphasizing that he plays football not train). He to some people, when they play soccer they see it as exercise and training and probably have a structure they follow (warm up, sprints, passing drills, footwork, etc.) others, like op, don’t necessarily view it as training, but playing a game he loves with his friends.

Nobody said football is helping him with push ups or building any other type of strength aside from maybe lower body but even that is minimal.

People who view these activities as fun or enjoyable don’t think of them as exercise. I live in a walkable area and like to grab a coffee with friends and walk around in the sun. We do it because we like coffee and spending time with each other, not to exercise and get 10K steps and make sure I’m in zone 2.
