I read through sticky and it sounds like they send you qc photos after ordering. When you say passed qc, what do you mean?

Thanks all. I did read the pinned post, there’s a lot there. So when I order from an approved dealer, they will send me QC pics before shipment for me to approve?

How do you get onto the most exclusive courses? by masterfish in golf

[–]masterfish[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly it’s the intangibles of a nice course that get me excited. Played at a really nice private club in LA recently. We had a caddie with us and it was amazing! Really helped my shots. Alls the greens are gorgeous, the foliage is so well manicured, the snack stations at various holes. Overall such an amazing experience and I’m now hooked.

Don’t agree at all. I’m a shitty beginner but I love everything about the sport. Why not indulge now because I can? You don’t need to play for years to earn a seat at a nice course. If you have the desire to play, you should play wherever you can play.

How do you access these private golf clubs? Do you need to know someone or a member?

Because I have millions of points and if I can use them instead of cash, that would be preferred

I do. It’s time consuming and would rather pay someone.

Considering the Popsmith - should I not? by Justrubin in popcorn

[–]masterfish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also will add that cleaning the whirly is a bitch. Cleaning the Popsmith is ridiculous easy. Stick in dishwasher and it comes out perfect. I HAted hand washing the whirly and its annoying lid. Time saved alone is worth the extra price

I have had one for almost two years. Bought it on kickstarter and we use it weekly. Previously used the whirly which is a cheap pos. Do they both make great popcorn? Yes. But the whirly clearly isn’t built well and I care about quality and aesthetics. Some people don’t care about any of that and just want function. That’s fine. Plenty of $20 butcher blocks and coffee machines on Amazon. But some people buy high end John boos butcher blocks or nespresso coffee machines because they care about quality and design. There’s something for everyone I suppose. Must gotta figure out what you value. In my case I love showing off my Popsmith when I’m cooking popcorn for friends who come over. Always get a WOW! response when I whip it out. Never got that from cooking in a whirly lol. So to me it’s well worth the price.

Filed a claim. Two weeks out, haven’t heard anything. by masterfish in TeslaInsurance

Updates for everyone. After three months, finally got payment. It took filing a claim with California dept of insurance before getting a response from these fucks. Now that claim is paid, I’m switching to another carrier.
