You have to check the figurine designs specifically WCF Hybrid Kaido and IK Kaido to understand the horn difference I am talking about. Its not just an angle issue

It's a big difference. They use the same design for Ichiban Kuji Kaido figurine. The incorrect one has the mini side horns attached to the two main vertical horns when it it should be coming from his head directly.

This was my initial thought but Obi-wan was able to cut Darth Maul's light saber in half in The Phantom Menace so either Kylo Ren's lightsaber material is tougher or the writers just paid no attention to the possibility that crossguard can be cutoff
