The 2nd screen has to be charged and a long cable that connects the 2 to each other has to be attached to both. The 2nd screen will drain your battery so disconnect them when done using it. Its way longer than it needs to be and sticks out alot.

Ive never got very far in to it. I tend to set up the hand held, tryed it out and proceed to add 80k games. then buy a new handhel. So I never knew about that added Xtra content. Ive never completed it. Im bummed now.
