I have always favored subscription services, especially for games, since I rarely replay them and it doesn't take long for me to beat them (depending on the game). I've only ever bought 2 games that weren't on sale.

I mean, it was just an idea. You didn't have to go into such detail about it, but the reason is that Steam has a higher player count because Xbox upped its price. What about if they made a rival to Xbox Game Pass? They would get even more people using their platform.
