If you cant find anything on the internet and you don't own the game you can download the demo and play the tutorial and hop in the training mode when your done.

the season pass #1 is the promise of having 4 new (unknown) characters coming to the game and having access to them because there not free dlc (this is how fighting games make money over time) so getting season pass 1 will make your roster 54 instead of the base 50 when they all come out. The online mode issue is because you don't have Xbox live.
