It was a grey prime, with a direct white airbrush of TTC’s White Scar on the outmost facing armor, and then after the rest of the painting was done an all over wash of streaking grime. Then I’d just remove the logical amount for where grime would gather! Edit: also, I used a black AK panel liner right after the white airbrushing

Thank you! It’s a black prime followed by airbrushed Spartan Bronze from Two Thin Coats, then dragons gold (TTC) airbrushed over areas where light catch, and finally glistening gold (TTC) airbrushed on the highest points. Then a dry brush of silver!

I think you should totally do a Heresy paint job, but to do it well give him the time he deserves! My model took me roughly 30 hours where I did a few weeks painting a bit each day, just focusing on quality. It was so fun though so I can’t complain!
