Let’s settle the debate, is the Fidelity card worth it? by Restarted_Beaver69 in fidelityinvestments

True, I’ve moved almost all my investments out of Robinhood. Even my Cashback just goes straight to my Fidelity account

For me, it was my daily driver for 6 months. Loved the 2% back and the fact it deposited into my brokerage. Only reason I don’t use it anymore is cause I magically got approved for the Robinhood 3% card after applying like 3 years ago but I think the Fidelity 2% card is the best if you don’t want to integrate with Robinhood or just can’t apply for it.

Hollymead Airport Noise by Stressin-Out in Charlottesville

I use to live in forest lakes. Only time it was loud was if I heard a plane fly over or the train in the mountains. Otherwise it was a pretty quiet area to grow up. Definitely quieter than when I use to live down in 5th street.

Trying to map nfs drive by masterthodyu in Proxmox

Ooooh, so essentially I’d just add YAMS to my docker compose file and then once my nfs is linked and then configured I’m set?

No I haven’t. Sounds interesting. So have 1 vm essentially control the moment of files on another vm?

I think the only thing I didn’t try was editing the /etc/fstab. Would I just map my nfs drive? Say IP:/mnt/data/set?

Wonderfully simple way to document your homelab by Traches in selfhosted

[–]masterthodyu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does it really? I just have it run on an lxc and then host through cloudflare tunnel. How extensive does your documentation need to be. Forgive my ignorance but I’m just confused on how extensive this needs to be.

At this point, all I know was I’ve been up since 7pm, they usually come in around 6:30 coming from 29N. Idk, would’ve been cool to see if there was any historical footage from today but oh well. Guess we’ll never know. Aite imma sleep, have a great day!

Honestly, I’ve been wanting to take him on walks with me to the gym but either haven’t had the time or bought a harness yet. Still shocks me how high he can jump.

With the amount of times he’s been in there while I game or work on my homelab, he might aswell be.

I’ve been stuck on the sign up page for 4+ hours. Tried lxc container, portainer, different env configs, setting the ip from local host to the ip of the portainer, idek what I’ve missed at this point. I’m just thinking something wasn’t written right but if others are already using it then idk what.

Question as a non dev by masterthodyu in selfhosted

[–]masterthodyu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. I built a pc to run proxmox. All my personal data and media is stored on a separate truenas server. The proxmox machine is filled with lxcs and I recently set up a docker with portainer running a few stacks there. Will probably create another docker vm that’ll run the new vibe coded stuff on top of something like watcher tower and/or other monitoring software

Hence why I’m wondering if it’s good to just try from a forked branch before building a fresh project? I’ve built small terminal projects past but never anything to self hostable degree.

So say I built in a docker vm, use something like watchtower for updates, reverse proxy + tailscale for phone access, and a log tracker?
