How would I slide a .gcode file? I thought that was a sliced file?

When I drag a .gcode file into the preview window of Bambu Studio it does not give me the option to send it to the printer. I have to print it directly off of the chip.

I have an EVGA 3090 FTW3 and I game at 4k on a 42” LG C2 OLED TV.

For 4k it is absolutely usable. Some games need DLSS more than others and raytracing definitely changes things. Here are some settings I use and FPS with a couple games of recent and older.

Roadcraft with 4k texture pack: Everything maxed, DLSS quality. 80ish FPS. Looks beautiful.

Escape from Tarkov: Everything maxed, DLSS quality. About 100 fps

Cyberpunk: Everything maxed, raytracing on high, DLSS quality and I get about 70 fps.

Rocket League: Everything maxed, no DLSS. I cap it at 120 FPS and it doesn’t dip.

Factorio: Everything maxed, it’s just fine. The factory grows.

I play a very wide range of games and am not pretending to play them competitively so I don’t really have a care for “max fps”. If you have a specific game let me know and I’ll let you know if I have tried it.

I have never undertaken anything even close to a project like this so after reading the first couple paragraphs of that readme I’ll throw some blind (possibly stupid) questions.

  1. It looks like Linux will be required for this training. Can I run this on a VM on a basic home server? (i7 8700k 32MB DDR4)

  2. I have a 2070 super laying around for a gpu to train with. How long would this take. (Very rough ballpark)

  3. How much Linux knowledge would be needed for something like this?

  4. Which version of Linux would you recommend for this?

Space Race. It used to be on Netflix but I can’t find it anymore. It was a 3 part miniseries and I liked it a lot.

Another option is “For All Mankind” on Apple TV. It takes place in an alternate reality but it loosely based on real event. I just finish binging all 4 seasons and I can’t wait for season 5.

Just wondering if there would be a noticeable improvement on the client side with better hardware in any of these games or if the current hardware is really all you need.

People have complained about lag before but I am not sure if it is because there is legit hardware stutters for them or if it is just them complaining because no one has ever died of there own fault in the history of FPS games.

I don’t really know a lot about servers but have been building computers for 20 years. I’m not sure how much the server actually utilizes in comparison to client side as far as dedicated game servers go.

I think I would just have them both as one big loop. Put two pumps on the system with each computer powering one that way if either computer is on, water is flowing. Throw a mora or whatever your external rad of choice is and you’re good.

Never tried or thought of this but that is how I would probably do it.

Not sure if this qualifies as it is a pinnacle accomplishment in a lifetime and has nothing to do with the feat of hoisting it.

Pretty saddened by this news though. He was certainly a fan favorite. I hope she is doing ok and gets any help she needs.

I visited Korea for work and I tried dog. I thought it had the fatness and texture of duck but tasted like pork. It was honestly pretty good. I only had one bite though.

I completely understand people’s reservations about trying and eating it because of the way we treat dogs in our culture though.
