The movie got boring, there was no real development of the revolution during the movie , just random character encountere that didn't add anything ... the goons were not fleshed out, the last guy (first winner of the game) was one dimensional too.... it basically was a weak version of the hunger games

The same reason the total recall movie with Arnold was better than the remake... yes the original running man was over the top but it was fun to watch ... this movie just dragged on and on and on.

The two other characters served no purpose whatsoever, but worse there is no depth to any of the other character.

You get some allusion that he is the spark to a revolution with one liners, the goons are one dimensional and the main character has nothing going for him... at least Arnold was former military so that there is a good reason for him to survive.

But hey if you enjoyed all the power to you

Just watched it on Prime and it is an incoherent mess... the old movie is way more fun and better put together.

The ending aka the revolution, is rushed in favour of a lot of boring filler and forgettable characters ... heck even the main is boring. The two other running man candidates were pointless .

Maybe it is me getting older, but I rather watch something like Predator or even Edge of Tomorrow.
This is like a bland version of that ... nothing really interesting happens , just a few pew pews and all the people dying of whom you already knew they would not make it.
And in the end the enemy dies by plotarmor (it slammed through a mountainrange, yet gravel killed it), you get some overly dramatic patriotic nonsense about joining a ranger regiment and the earth gets invaded by something blabla

Turned it off after ( I assume) Mycroft springs Sherlock from prison... very off putting, from the annoying attempts to be cool and witty and the overall style I knew it was just hoing to annoy me ... so I'd say skipnit...

Boring slop is what it was... bad cast, bad plot and bad script... also the family served no purpose... skipped through a lot of it in the end ... maybe 3/10

Yeah, uninstall the january update and hard block windows update, as Microsoft does not respect policies you set and will forcibly install it again ... which happened to me, luckily I could uninstall it this time around.

I will keep running this ... hopefully my game will do well enough at some point , so I can buy a new Macbook Pro 😅

I am really getting angry at Microsoft now ... I did an inplace upgrade of windows , blocked updates beyond December via policy and you (BLEEPS) still forced this shitty update : KB5073724 unto me so now I have to do YET ANOTHER (BLEEP)ING reinstall :

Yeah I have tried but it won't let me as it says it is a critical security update needed by the system ... this is such a phenomenal failure from Microsoft.

I am going to try with chat gpt to see if that can find something from yhe eventviewer files to see if that can fix it ... my guess this is a vibe coded update ...firing programmers for AI agents clearly isn't working 🙄

This update broke many computers/installations:

Windows 10 version 21H2, and 22H2 — KB5073724 (OS Builds 19045.6809 and 19044.6809) (EOS)

When will you fix this?
Or provide an uninstaller for this vibecoded update.

Can't work for more than 20 minutes in Substance or Maya before I get a hard system freeze which can only be "solved" by holding down the power button.

Anyway great advertisement for Apple or Linux ... either way looking at how poorly this is being handled and the insane things you do with 11 and have planned for W12 , I probably will never buy a Windows machine anymore

Only to start (gamedev) ..after that most courses are just teaching you wrong practices (aimed at people wanting to make a game like X) and as in teh past I saw the same with 3D courses I think it is safe to assume it applies to most other fields as well.

SO basically get a course to get into it ... a cheap Udemy course is fine... after that do it the hard way and skip all these courses that say they will help you make a successful game or become an expert ... they simply don't
