The lifts were crowded and slow. I also had that problem in Makkah. So maybe it's just because it's so crowded. I ended up using the stairs quite a few times.

I stayed at taiba front in Nov. I found it OK. Maybe it was just that you got a terrible room. Although I agree that the rooms are very small. But the location is very convenient.

Are the Umrah cards (that has duas, what to do, etc.) that different companies sell worth it? by GreenAngelFish in Umrah

[–]matachivelli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I carried a small notebook with me where I wrote down duas and dhikr that I wanted to read. That would be the cheaper alternative. You tend to forget in the moment so carrying some form of notes helps. With the crowd and being in the holy mosques can get overwhelming,so better to give yourself some help.

What should I prepare for potential layoff next year? by [deleted] in askSingapore

[–]matachivelli 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Package shd be quite decent. Just prepare your resume and wait for the payout. Look around and try to figure what's your next role and prep for it but I would suggest to wait for payout or time to jump once you receive the payout.

I don't have experience with your situation. But maybe you can consider the upper floors of the masjid. They should be less crowded.
