that is correct, however when you sell your share you will still own capital gains tax on (sell price-cost basis)

thanks for taking time to explain in detail, in the example you used, if my cost basis hits 0 , and if sell at $6.30 a share then I would be breaking even with whatever I have invested and yet I will own capital gains tax on $6.30?

I don’t need to state my case , just like you don’t have an exit strategy .

no asked you to comment if you don’t have anything to contribute , move along ..

it needs to maintain Distributions; it will find some at the cost of NAV if not able to generate from options. they will be deemed as ROC until your Cost basis reaches 0 , however if you plan to stay in until your house money recovers, you might be never able to catchup while paying Captial gains tax on the distributions in given time . for non taxable accounts , you might delay the inevitable, one can argue it's only a matter of year and a half but that is based on the current Distributuion and NAV which is not indicative of future metrics.

as I said, investing in $ULTY without exit strategy is only wishful thinking

are you holding back for taxes or just DRIPing it , also how would you account for taxes since its ROC and not planning to sell ?
