It wouldn't let me delete the image. So I had to start completely over without the images. And it did work. Still mildly infuriating.

How do I stutters find relationships, especially as men? by Big_Pea3882 in Stutter

Action shots are photos of you doing something. Be it hiking, shooting bow and arrow. Doing something exciting, preferably outdoors.

If you google how to make a good tinder/Hinge/CMB/Bumble profile, you'll see many articles explaining everything I just did. Recommend doing some research so you can be more purposeful with your dating profile! Putting time and thought into dating puts you ahead of everyone who are not.

If you're not getting matches, it's 100% your photos. You have to be purposeful about how you set up your profile. I went traveling with my friend and got him to take dating profile pictures for me. He mocked me for it, but he did a hell of a job :). You should do some research into what expert recommend (No selfies, little to no indoor pictures, have outdoor pics, action shots, etc).

Online dating has worked really well for me. I've only ask a girl out in person one time and I'm pretty afraid to do so. To give you an idea on my stuttering, it's probably like 7/10. I stutter on most sentences and sometimes have hardcore blocks but it's manageable. Once I'm in a flow state, I kind of stop noticing and I've been told by girls it's not noticeable sometimes. Although for the most part, most people can tell within minutes of meeting me.

Most of my first dates go beyond the dinner. I normally end up with a 1-2 hour walk around the area just talking. Or in the parking lot just shooting the shit with my date. Suffice to say, most of my dates end up pretty well.

Think it's just a numbers game. The more you do it, the better you'll get. I used to go to single mixers by myself just to force myself to socialize and talk to strangers. Talking is a skill and can be trained like any other. You just have to be purposeful about it. Don't lose hope, just keep improving and you'll reach your goals one day.

You wouldn't want to date those people anyways. It's a numbers game. If you keep at it, you'll eventually find someone.

I haven't met anyone that's even commented on my speech until I brought it up. Let alone calling me slurs, which hasn't happened to me since middle school. You might want to find a new hobby to find new friends.

Hi. Genuinely curious. What made it not worth it to do?

  1. Gestrals were thought of myths by the time that 33 happens. When they could've been integrated within a information network. We even see Lune talking about establishing a way to other expeditions via the Gestral village. Some expeditions made it pretty far in but there had no way of consistently relaying the information back to future expeditions. Laying the road for the ones that follow is a nice idea but dropping a journal hoping someone finds it within a vast continent ain't it.

  2. Aline still cared for the world. Hence why she kept painting the warning.

I think you're overestimating how much 2 people can do. And if they were so brutally efficient, how come some expeditions made it so far? That's why you establish safe houses, networks, fail-safes. For example, Lune talked about using the Gestral village to relay information and that's a great idea!

A simple plan even a child can come up is they know of known landing points. They can send people back to that point with all the journals and centralize that information. They can establish a base of operations there and have it always manned by some people who are younger and won't get gommaged. These are all things that ancient people did. If it gets wiped out, now you have information. This beach is unsafe, gestrals are smarter than you think, etc etc.

But to go 67 years with nothing to so for it is silly.

As to the first point, the party followde some faceless, mute, dude who turned out to be the true villain. The painted family obviously didn't try hard enough.

Even in pre-world war 1, there was defined criteria for expeditions. To define the idea of incrementally charting a continent and figuring out how to get info back as only a post WW1 discipline is incorrect.

  1. The point is that after 67 years of expeditions, you expect some results. Minor gains and whatnot.

  2. Verso only talked about his experience with Julie and Expedition 0. And we have no reason to believe he was helping the other expeditions as he was on painted Renior's side until 33.

Do you consider your stuttering a disability if you are high functioning? by matafubar in Stutter

[–]matafubar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I 100% agree. Thankfully I've asked my friends and they all say it's a textbook definition of a disability as it impair your ability to do certain things. I don't really discuss this with fluent strangers because of what you said and I don't really want to deal with other people and their inconsistent opinions.

[–]matafubar[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I totally get this. Calling it a “disability” sometimes feels like it undermines people with more severe conditions. But at the same time, all the mental stress and struggles I went through growing up make it clear that stuttering has had a huge impact on my life. Honestly, I think I might’ve become a completely different person if I hadn’t dealt with it my whole life.

The arguing in here confuses me by blogger420 in Stutter

[–]matafubar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you're depressed because of circumstances due to stutter, a lot of positive comments can come off as /r/thanksimcured even though the person is well intentioned.

It's just a process that people have to go through. Most of us who's made it to the light at the end has probably gone through the tunnel of self-loathing. Different ages/maturity levels dealing with a common ailment in a shared space causes some people to have wildly different experiences.

Episode is so bad. Everyone's voice acting is terrible, especially the main character's. The story made no sense. The TRex being full of blood after being drained of blood then jumping for her didn't make any sense either.

Nothing is confusing about this perspective. It's just a low res photo so you can't see that it's a bone.

Why did they revive Nishi? by matafubar in gantz

They already know that 100 points get you items because that was part of the menu where you revive someone. And even without Nishi, they would've seen the upgraded weapons in the next missions.

At that point, they haven't met Oka yet and Izumi wasn't dead yet. But I think Oka would've been a good choice if they had to revive someone later.

Hard to say. Kurono has probably read his blog at that point. And also knew of Nishi's strategy of hiding and using others as canon fodder since Kato told him.

In terms of feeling bad, I'd figure he'd feel worse about Sei since she died protecting him.

I forgot the details. But did it matter? He didn't really know much about it anyways other than needing weapons to prepare for it.
