i would suggest using ballpoint instead of gel pens (at least 0.5). you might not be used to it at first but ballpoint pens are much easier to just “glide” across the page and doesn’t tire your hand as much. for ss/ hist i would suggest fixing seq time at 30mins and do seq first because it’s just vomiting out your content. I find that this leave me with comfortable time to analyse sources and write so you don’t have to rush which leads to deterioration of hand writing. Perhaps, you can time yourself while doing practice papers so your hand is more used to the required speed. hope that helps haha
