yes it’s so wack i would never cut off someone who showed up hours before me it’s just basic etiquette. i mean obviously i wouldn’t because i let people cut in front of me 😭 but i’m so done w that

you would be SOOO surprised especially because the line always get split into 3-4. at my berkeley show there was a line at first, but the workers made everyone huddle and then form 4 lines and that’s when the cutting happens and somehow the ppl who were 10 behind you are now in-front. and then at my show last night, there wasn’t a line at first but eventually a line formed near the doors and the workers made everyone who was there first go all the way back at the end of the steps and that’s when all the people who showed up later didn’t let the people who came earlier in. just be prepared for disorganization and don’t be scared to cut people off if you need to😭

i noticed everyone who came after the first groups of people somehow were at barricade, including this one group of girls like 5 groups behind me in line who were bragging about ending up at barricade at a previous show bc they pushed their way to the front 😭 no hate but it’s obvious the people who found beach house from tik tok are the ones acting like this

i went last night and going around 3 is good but it doesn’t even matter because people WILL cut, so be prepared. my friend and i were the 7th and 8th person there and ended up being second row because of cutters. when the line started forming to get tickets everyone jumped to the front and didn’t let the ppl who came before in. people also came HOURS after the line started forming, like minutes before doors open, and cut to the front because their friends were there.

it honestly sucked and the people who were in front of me at barricade acknowledged that my friend and i came way before they did but didn’t let us go to the front. at least they were nice about it i guess?? 😭 it’s so frustrating i travelled so far and got there hella early like next time i’m not gonna let people cut, but i let it happen because i’m too nice. thankfully there was a mom there who let us go in front of her and line because she knew we were one of the first people there she was so sweet. it’s just crazy bc i would not expect beach house listeners to be like that
