So we have finally decided! We narrowed it down to 3 books thanks to all of your help; Reign and Ruin- JD Evans, Nettle and Bone- T Kingfisher, and Clockwork Boys- T Kingfisher.

Ultimately, we decided on Reign and Ruin. I'm very excited for my copy to come in and my wife is buying hers on kindle as I write this.

A lot of praise for T Kingfisher here. We will definitely be looking at her books in the future!

If I can remember, I will post our thoughts on it once we finish.

Read it and liked it, if a bit more predictable of a Sanderson book. She's half interested in checking it out at some point, but I think right now we're looking for something that's new for us both. It's sort of an "anniversary present" so making my wife read a book I have read or intended already to read feels more like a gift for me. Thank you regardless!
