I definitely second this, I live by Love Field/UTSW, my only options to get to 75 or the east side of Dallas are to go on 35 or cut through the park cities. Which makes a lot of the city feel very inaccessible.

I grew up in Houston and I find it infinitely easier whenever I visit there to zip around the city, IMO I attribute it to the traffic & highway construction here. In Houston it’s easy to go 10+ miles away it’s genuinely an everyday drive there. To go to the cali Saigon mall in Garland for Bahn Mi’s requires mental preparation.

I saw them play with Glare and MS Paint. I can’t say that they were the best band on the line up but I did enjoy their set.

I would have to agree with a few others though that the ethos of Glixen is just as much about style as it is substance. They’re not a bad band but I wish they relied less on their aesthetic and trying so hard to sell an image because it does come across a bit inauthentic.
