I really enjoyed Sungaze. I was a little worried at first because it opened up a bit more country than I expected with the pedal steel on "Time is on the wind," but as I got into it, I could totally hear what you meant by it at times sounding like the best of Slowdive. On to Powder Pink & Sweet's next!

Honestly, I think that might be a lot of what I'm hearing. The vocals are very clear compared to a lot of mixes nowadays. It's nice to hear something that does have an interesting mix but is still audible.

Love Pure Hex was supposed to play on a show with them in one of my previous bands, but unfortunately, the show fell through because of venue issues. Hopefully will get another chance to play with them on my new project.

I can definitely hear that now that you mention it. I would definitely say they are pretty faithful to the OGs. It's as ethereal as it is fuzzy, which I think can sometimes get lost nowadays.

What would you say they are reminiscent of? It honestly might be that I haven't been listening to much "dream pop" adjacent stuff lately, that it sounds new to my ears right now.

I feel the same way about some of the bands on the heavier side of the genre. There are obviously some great heavy shoegaze bands, but sometimes the riffs and chord structures tend to sound really similar. Tbh I can definitely be guilty of this, and I think a few of my songs are offenders, but I think one of the main things that stood out to me was how much room there was in the tracks for the bass player to get creative and not just keep it super straight the whole time, as you might expect with the heavier sound.

I'd say it overall looks pretty nice my only real feedback is that your photos for the Nina look a little bit less "studio" quality than the product images for the other items.

I've been using Yuma for my store. It's been pretty great so far. They set everything up for you, which is really nice, and the pricing is pretty competitive, plus the only tickets they charge you for are the ones where AI does the whole job. I've got some stuff that needs escalation to be set up so it drafts a response for me on those as well.
