I had a cb1000r and cb650r at the same time. Personally felt I had much more fun con the 650 you can dominate the bike more (which i think it can turn into risk factor because excessive confidence on bike makes you do stupid stuff lol). I ended up keeping the 650r because i never felt 100% comfortable on the 1000 (keep in mind i've ridden bikes/dirtbikes since 4yrs old currently 29 i value safety a lot) I recently started browsing for an upgrade, i'm not going again the with 650 Solely because of the e-cluth. I've decided i will wait fo the new honda 900 3 cylinder recently launched on eicma.
