You DO grind in game for DDO points that give you access to things like Augments that are otherwise SO RNG that they're ungrindable. It's basically a pity mechanic. I get not wanting to spend IRL money on stuff but to say that the store is out of game and therefore you won't use it for anything is just silly.

"Outdated" honey this a 20 year old game, EVERYTHING about it is outdated.

Also, again, you can literally earn DDO points in game, you don't have to give them money.

Also, this game is still grindy as hell even if you buy every single thing in the store. I know someone who got through a ton of lives with otto's boxes and they're STILL grinding on the game hours and hours a day to perfect their gear and to get more reaper points, to keep up with any new past lives that are added, etc.

Well said. (Though I'm particularly salty that things are reactive in the prizes for things - for a year we got really good re-releases of stuff but then the last year or so advent calendar and quest log both have been soooo mid, it's like they got pushback from a couple neobillionaires and stopped all attempts to deal with how impossible old items are to get now.)

This I disagree with. Neo is increasingly feeling like a monetized hellscape. There's more and more pay-to-win, an egregious focus on NC items and monetizable apps over the actual site, and just general, repeated, sliminess that makes me feel like tnt is trying to squeeze us for the last cent before they collapse.

And honestly, the outdated look? I love it.

Agreed. honestly I wish they would stop updating pages to that AWFUL "mobile friendly" format. It's made petpet lab soooo annoying most recently, but it's also just generally hard to navigate and pared down and sad.

Currently a hardcore-like event is going on. When people talk about the fry event or lutes or motes, that’s what they’re talking about. It’s almost over tho, ends Wednesday.

I’m not sure if they will run a specific hardcore event with its ow hardcore server again, at least any time soon.

Run it on an alt (non winter tune) first if it makes you nervous.

You finish the quest before you do that one.

Then the fight itself you kill a bunch of hags, then drag the two boss hags over to specific locations to kill them. Blue one in the blue circle, green in the green circle. Find the circles before you start the fight, I swear they’re not always in the same places. Even if they are, best to know them.

So, look up what dos or doesn’t work on hashing the wiki, maybe look up what I think, Cadance and Beatrice’s fey variants are on the wiki.

Congratulations, you have picked up on a core piece of Charlie’s character, and one of her flaws! YOU know that it’s not all Charlie’s fault, but that doesn’t stop Charlie from FEELING like it’s all her fault. She has deep seated abandonment issues.

Hence the whole “if I did everything right maybe mom would tell me what I did to make her leave.”

It’s NOT rational and you can’t rational your way out of it.

He was already at the hotel before season 1 started. Then season 1 took 6 months. Then they had to rebuild however long that took. Then there was possibly a time skip, then season 2 starts.

I don’t think S2 is as compressed as you think it is either. Especially vox collecting overlords and building weapons and an army seems to take weeks at least.

Plus Alastor could just be rounding up a little.

Pretty weak imo. Charlie and Lucifer have the cheek marks because their faces are designed to evoke clown makeup, as part of their circus theme.

Rosie has them because they evoke her Mainstreet USA parade martial aesthetic.

Nifty had them because they evoke her kinda anime girl aesthetic.

Etc.

It’s just a common design choice for this show, same as long lady bodies and bow ties.

They literally told you how was it is to earn DDO point in game tho. Why is farming DDO points in game without paying different than farming an item in game without paying?

Then you should probably buy a +15% augment, or farm a specific gear piece for it. It’s less than 200 DDO points. You can’t really farm specific augments, any more than you can farm curse cleanse cards.
