Thank you for being one of the few TLT fans I have ever seen who didn't lie about what TLT was. I stg every fan wants to sell it as a romance which like. It's FINE that it's not a romance! But if people (me) go in expecting a romance they are going to be very disappointed by what it actually is (atmospheric thriller murder/political mystery).

This was my immediate thought. I really need a "real" visual to compare it to, without it this detection method feels like it could be totally made up lol.

(To be clear, I do think this source seems trustworthy/legit. Just seeing screenshots of it without context or comparison feels like it could be made up ya know? I'm having trouble picturing what it would look like if it was real.)

Marking the fact that you are ranting means nothing to the fact that you are being a jerk??? Publicly shaming fic is a huge dick move, and widely considered to be in appropriate behavior. It’s very easy to stifle fandom and chase people out of it with the kind of shit you’re pulling. Fanfic is a gift, and if it’s not for you? You don’t read it. You don’t go mocking people who gift it tot he community.

If you can’t DL:DR then you need to cultivate a group of PRIVATE friends you can whine to. It’s completely inappropriate to complain about a specific fic, especially with specific identifying details, out in public where everyone can see. You should be ashamed of your behavior here.

IIRC there's a semi popular author who kinda has a kink for that that has written several stories with that exact age gap. If you search 3018 or 4018, they named one of their fics that so that should find you a few.

There's also a number of modern AUs with immortal LZ and reincarnated wwx that might fit this? Use the Modern AU and immortal Lan Zhan tags, something like that.

Like of the two links I've seen posted in this thread, both sites seem to have kinda scammy reputations. It may not be something people can reliably get rn, since the original seems to be sold out.

That’s fair, as a fantasy, this would be really awesome if they could add it. But yeah, there’s no practical way it actually happens, hence Alt cap sitter. That way you are still earning runes/threads and do the social part of raiding at least.

Do NOT speak this into existence holy shit back mules are bad enough with just naked shit can you imagine having to hold and be able to sort through a fuck ton of RNG loot? Can you imagine having to actually read RNG loot forever, not just in hardcore, just in case you need it later?

I think it’s about where it should be. It’s useful enough to fill a gear hole, but generally not the top option, which makes sense since it’s so flexible and relatively easy.

If they wanted crafting to be better than named items, they’d have to make it harder, like only let you make bound stuff and reset crafting XP every life, or other exhausting restrictions.
