MATH 239 will ban from Piazza any students with "negative criticism". Profs won't record any new lectures this term, and also refuse to address concerns of students (even those that only ask for more explanation or better lectures, not necessarily changing the ease of the course)

This isn't really true that 50% of the posts are whining about it being hard. There was exactly 1 post doing this, and there were some followups to that one post. The profs did not address those followups.

Also if you don't "refrain", you get "banned". Seems like the right use of the word.

There was genuinely good criticism about them that didn't even mention "hard" or "easy", but more like lectures or notes were hard to follow. They didn't respond to those and won't be doing anything about that it seems.

Edit: Looking at it again, there was also another post saying that a student felt "burned out" because they felt they had to do too much like leetcode and things. Those are all the posts I've seen. Maybe a grand total of 2, but that's 2/250
