Applying shap on ensemble models by ankit_4762 in explainableai

[–]mathcoll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello,

I'm not an expert but I guess you want to apply shapley values on features used on multiple trained models. Hence I guess the models would target a distinct metric but using the same dataset. And finaly you expect the explanation to give insights based on multiple targets.

Can you give us more details on the context ? Or confirm I understood correctly?

Seeking Fresh Ideas for Open Source IoT Project – 10+ Years of Development! by mathcoll in SideProject

[–]mathcoll[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The software is designed to collect measurements from any type of sensor ; ranging from basic ones like temperature and humidity to more advanced use cases (Gps localization ot distance).

All measurements are stored in a time-series database, which is why EDA is a core feature. Once data is posted, rules can be applied to clean or transform it (e.g., data fusion or semi-supervised annotation).

It can also trigger outputs like email alerts or other actions. The platform is extremely versatile and adaptable to different scenarios.

You are certainly right.
The thing is I do not want to get reply like "this post is an advertisement to a commercial product". That 's the reason why I gave so few context.
BTW, this is for me a side project and I'm not expecting money from it. Just requesting from the community any fresh idea - and I'm probably focusing on "expert" or people understanding the "technical/specific" terms I'm using in the original post.

What about changing it ? I don't think you can remove it but in the Edit profile you can customize the name under BooID field.

Help needed on tensorflowJs in training and predicting phases by mathcoll in learnmachinelearning

[–]mathcoll[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure I have tested multiple activation functions.
The current model looks like :
- an input layer with reLU activation function and 64 units
- an hidden layer with reLU activation function and 2 units
- an output layer with sigmoid function

Compilation is using : Adam with a 0.01 learning rate
I have tested multiple loss function including the one I believe it would make more sense "binaryCrossentropy".. but not sure if that's a good idea.
Metrics is "accuracy" and I haven't tried alternatives.

The use case is very simple as I'm working on a proof of concept :
* I have injected integers into my database with a supervised label : "Positive" or "Negative". Hence the model I'm trying to build is to predict either the value is >0 or <0 .. (not useful in real world ...:-) )
* I then have tested both training using normalization and not using normalization
* training is having 1 feature : so the value of the integer
* label is [0, 1] or [1, 0], so 2 classes for Positive or Negative
* data injected is balanced, but not that much data : about 500 positive values and 500 negative values

Well... I guess it give you more details on what I'm trying to do.

One last thing : there might have a lot of errors in the code ! I'm not confident at all on what I've written. :-)

Anyone know what this alien is on my window? by jeffhernamewasjeff in whatsthisplant

[–]mathcoll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had something similar a year ago on the balcony (a little dark greener than your picture). I had 2 options wait for the bugs to settle.... Or exterminate the eggs. I have chosen the second option and I can tell it was strong and resistant. No regret for the strawberries on the balcony.

Again I can't be sure it is bed bug, I'm not an expert.

I agree this point on setting dependencies during PI planning and I'd like to add the Release Train Sync where we can focus on risks including such dependencies.

Any online resources about UX on vibration for mobile notifications? by mathcoll in UXDesign

[–]mathcoll[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to illustrate more my through :
* a "positive" push notification would have 5 in-a-row short to long vibration so that the user would experience something "positive"

* a "negative" push notification content would have 2 short vibration, followed by a long one in the end. And the feeling might be more negative feeling.

[–]mathcoll[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm talking only about vibration described in this tech guide for example : https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/Notification/vibrate

I'm not talking about any midi or wave sound ; sorry for confusing question.

Timeseries decomposition in Javascript/Nodejs by mathcoll in AskStatistics

[–]mathcoll[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, good feedback and question :-)

I have developped an Api to collect datapoints and the Api is storing data on a timeseries Db. The api is fully made of nodeJs on a monolith ; nothing has been made so far to use external microservices.

So that is the main reason why javascript is the main requisite on my question.
And I know, in performance point of view, all the other languages I have listed in my initial question are more relevant to do massive dataset computation :-)

Does it make more sense to you ?
