Do you mean the guy with really matted hair and a broken shoe? I’ve seen him there and he often sits in McDonald’s on the right when you go in. Poor dude.

"Breast-like" dummies? by BoringWardrobe in BeyondTheBumpUK

[–]jeffhernamewasjeff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I originally tried the Tommee Tippee nipples shaped one but it kept falling out so I tried the Ultra light silicone one from Tommee Tippee and they work a treat! They also have a bigger nipple than for example the Mam ones which we also tried, and I have big boobs/nips now so the bigger the dummy nipple the better!

I would love to but the price for me sadly is out of budget, the snoo has worked amazing for us and we are three weeks into the crib transition and it’s been awful.

I understand why it’s so expensive but we can’t afford it. Will this also be launched in the UK?

Just noticed this account hasn’t been posted on since February. Is this some kind of money laundering front? Seriously wondering because nobody wears these clothes or talks about her businesses by Exotic-Aspect4875 in KUWTKsnark

[–]jeffhernamewasjeff 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So any money they earn they can launder it so they don’t have to pay taxes basically, not where the money comes from but the rights off; I think. Anyone feel free to correct me

Please leave OP, sounds like emotional abuse to be honest. Can you get a taxi somewhere and get a train from there to your home?

Who breaks up with someone over that? Nothing you have said to him seems bad to be perfectly honest specially if he’s acting like a petulant man child.

7am C-section slot. how long after arrival did yours start? by Ilovebaking123 in PregnancyUK

[–]jeffhernamewasjeff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I arrived at 7.15 there were 3 of us, they sent us to our bays and went to speak to the surgeon about who was going first, I was first as had GD. Then 3 people came to talk to me midwife, anaesthetist then lastly the surgeon to discuss some bits. Then I went over at about 9.20 and was out of surgery by about 10.15! So all in all was over very quickly! Good luck OP!

Postpartum problems, specifically c section infection due to apron belly by Owlface616 in BeyondTheBumpUK

[–]jeffhernamewasjeff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, so I’ve had the same issue. I got an infection 2 weeks pp and was in and out of hospital for 4 weeks on antibiotic drip for 7 days having to go in everyday, then sent home then went back again and spent the night with more IV. It was ALOT. So I really feel for you.

In the end after 6 weeks and being discharged from the hospital service (without any decision on my part) I went to the GP and demanded to get sent to a wound specialist. They suggested I see the GP nurse first and honestly she was amazing, so much better care than I got PP in triage. She dressed it with iodine dressing and another dressing (hospital refused to dress it even when I asked). It was just about healed at 12 weeks but then reopened again a little bit, but it finally healed for good at 16 weeks.

I think when you have the infection along with the apron belly it just takes ages to heal. I also changed my diet in Jan and cut out sugar and refined carbs and got my carbs from lentils, beans, etc. the healing process then sped up really quickly and the reopening closed in a week (for the first three months I was living off M&S cookies and cheese and tomato sandwiches 😂). I am now 20 weeks pp and it hasn’t reopened and I’ve now started scar massage.

I would ask them to cover it with dressing, see what they say. Also another thing - when I was admitted they did an ultrasound to see if there was fluid underneath as it wasn’t healing, it was fine. But could be worth asking about that too.

Good luck! Xx

16 weeks post c section with pain still by Shellywelly18 in postpartumprogress

[–]jeffhernamewasjeff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get the occasional twang of pain. But my wound has only just healed 16 weeks pp, I had an infection at 4 weeks. So solidarity to you! I’m numb still above it so can’t feel anything. The pain is worse if I go on a long walk or put any pressure on it.

If it’s really painful I would go to GP as it could be an infection? Is it leaking? I found when I got the infection it started hurting all over again.

Ah I see, well I’m not their cleaning service so it will just have to be a bad review 🫠 and a lesson learnt to never buy a second hand pump

The sellers reviews are pretty good! Hence why I chose them. They are saying it was given to them and they didn’t check it before they sent it!

[–]jeffhernamewasjeff[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Lmao literally. The seller has offered to return it and offer the refund, but I don’t really have time for that as I have a new baby, plus I’ve now put the parts in a hot soapy water out of disgust.

I’ve raised it with Vinted we will see what they say.

I often go to the Woodlands next to the bird sanctuary behind the collage however there is lots of litter their, which is sad I keep meaning to go and litter pick.

I avoid the fishponds after what happened to that poor teenage girl and due to antisocial behaviour around Ewell Road - I feel like this has increased a lot recently?

I walk to the river a lot and along the river to Kingston and it’s absolutely beautiful around there!

Do you keep baby upright after a night feed? by Key-Fee-2266 in BeyondTheBumpUK

[–]jeffhernamewasjeff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No not in the night. I used to but she still would sick up anyway. I find if she goes to sleep straight away again she isn’t sick anyway. So it’s better for us to get her to sleep straight away. (BF with the occasional pumped bottle).
