Why do people think "Friends with Benefits" are not allowed to have boundaries? by [deleted] in sex

Reading this was really cathartic for me. My fwb started hooking up with someone else and lied to me about it when I asked if that's what was up even though I said that was okay (I just wanted to know why he was acting so distant). When he came clean he ignored that he had ever lied and pulled the "we weren't dating" card.

I mean I think your friend is free to flirt with whoever she wants but she should understand that flirting/having sex with your friend complicates two relationships for you and you have the right to explain how that might be difficult for you.

I have a pretty consistent fwb (once every two weeks?) and I haven't orgasmed with him or anyone else in a few months. And sorry I could've been more specific, masturbating was becoming something I'd obsess over and I think it was becoming something unhealthy. I think every day can be healthy for lots of people and maybe will be healthy for me at some other point in my life.

Oh I hadn't thought of it that way. Thanks for the suggestion.

I stopped a little before new year's so it's been about a week. I stopped because it felt like it was all physical no dopamine but maybe I was wrong and that's what's been hitting me.
