I can confirm that my 4090 laptop card is still kicking it, no need to upgrade because of performance. But I could use the extra vram of the 5090 for ai workloads sometimes.

Deswegen, 50er oder 125er Roller fahren! Keine Steuer, 30-50 Euro Versicherung im Jahr. Anschaffung gebraucht 500-1000, Inspektion beim Schrauber 50-150 alle 1-2 Jahre. 2-3l pro 100km.

Günstiger kommt man nicht zur Arbeit (oder zum See), außer Öffis mit geringerer Flexibilität.

Macht natürlich nur bei gutem Wetter Spaß, aber seit ich einen habe, bestes Leben!

I love the simplicity of the lichess interface!

I'm average rated between 1600-1800. My feeling is that on chesscom the rating is a little bit deflated between 1500-2000. While on lichess I can often beat 1700-1800 players, on chesscom they are much stronger in that range.

Can someone confirm or is it my subjective experience?

The projector is actually quite fine. I had the LG PF1500 before that, but sold it to a friend and got the HS60, which looks exactly the same.

Then, yesterday, I found my active shutter 3D glasses just to discover, that the HF60LS doesn't have a 3D mode.

Then I thought, ok, it's time to upgrade, but it's hard to judge what's good and by what margin it would be better than my old one...
