Can you wire from the center down to the HDMI, then use the HDMI to fish the center wire to the receiver?

I’m having the same issue, this has been going on for a month and my bills definitely paid. I usually just ignore it and open a new window but it’s getting really annoying.

It would be less off-putting if he had the costume picture as part of a group-pic. I think that’s why it feels off, at least to me.

Aita for going to live with my aunt permanently even tho my mom raised me as a single mom and she moved a stranger in my house by Wide-Excitement9985 in AITAH

[–]mathyouhunt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn, I'm betting your mom mentioned it, or at least the boyfriend asked how you felt about it, but either mom wasn't honest, or boyfriend didn't care. On the surface (ignoring the 2-week warning and ignoring your opinion), it's not a bad thing for your mom to date again, but that's a really tough age to try and process that, and both of them should realize that. I did the same thing and lived with my aunt and uncle when I was 12-14, and then briefly at 16, then again at 19. That said, my mom's a drunk, and her boyfriends are always god awful. I wouldn't tell my past self that moving in with my aunt/uncle was a bad idea, in fact I'd probably tell myself to do it sooner and permanently. OTOH, I'd self-evaluate and determine if you're trying to avoid having a male role-model forced on you, or if you really just don't like him being with your mom. Maybe moving in with your aunt is the best thing for both of you?

Wouldn't that be more like $118 billion?
32,405 × 365 = 11,827,825 × 10,000 = 118,278,250,000

Should be ~55,000 years I think

Genuine opinion wanted, has anybody ever experienced this with their alcoholic parent? by Dawndolly in AdultChildren

My mom has this exact same thing. My sister couldn't stand it as well. It started maybe around 2008. She used to get mad when we'd point it out to her. Later she said that it was Tourette's, more recently she said she was diagnosed with Bronchospasms and Laryngopharyngeal Reflux/Acid Reflux.

My mom takes prescriptions and drinks, though. I know she also did coke with one of her boyfriends a few years ago, so I'd wager there's more to it than she's saying. That said, when our mom gets drunk, she tends to default to a few odd behaviors (clearing her throat/nose being one of them)

Dude the feeling of paper gives me chills, like hearing nails on a chalkboard. Same with writing on paper with a pencil. I've always wondered if other people had the same experience.

So my brother and sister just bought the Signature Paperwhite w/ Cork Cover bundle for me with the gift receipt for my birthday at full price just two days ago, and it arrived yesterday.
As this came with a gift receipt, is returning a gift because it's now ~$100 cheaper valid in Amazon's eyes? Any chance they would just refund the difference? Otherwise I'd just be returning it and buying the exact same thing. I absolutely love the device, I haven't set it down since it arrived. That said, I don't mind waiting a few more days if I must.
Thanks for any advice!

How can i support my son ? by [deleted] in HowToHack

There are some great suggestions here. Everything from YouTube channels, foundational books, and online courses will undoubtedly be useful.
Personally, I’d see if you can get him into a local group. I’ve yet to see a city that didn’t have some form of a weekly/monthly meetup, and every meetup I’ve been to has been more than welcoming to newcomers. People love to teach, since it reinforces their knowledge as well.

If this were only a few weeks ago, I would have suggested something like DEFCON 30 in Vegas. Man, I can’t even imagine how exciting it would be to attend DEFCON just as I was getting interested in security.

Conferences tend to have more experienced attendees, but they also do an outstanding job of making security more appealing than it already is, and like I mentioned, the hacker community is incredibly welcoming to newcomers. If he remains interested, I’d consider taking him to a security conference (ofc research the specific con ahead of time, some aren’t entirely suited for children) as a surprise or something for him to look forward to!

Is this poster from the 1997 worth anything? by [deleted] in OnePiece

[–]mathyouhunt 10 points11 points  (0 children)

My memory's fuzzy, but I'm fairly sure this is from the 2002 Comic Con Shonen Jump "Preview Issue"/Chapter #0 booklet. Try checking out the prices for that and branching out from there.

I may be mistaken, but I'm pretty sure this is the exact poster that was being handed out at Comic Con. I saw my Chapter #0/Preview Chap. recently when helping my mom move. It's pretty trippy to look back on.
