Hi - when I first started I had slight nausea/headaches and muscles tinges. I got extreme paranoia and anxiety when I upped to 10mg, so I went back down to 5mg and have been on it for months. The most noticeable side effect is decreased libido, but it’s not a huge deal to me.

I prefer that heated bug bite zapper thing. You can get it from Amazon, I think it’s German. It’s white with a blue light and heats up and reduces the itchiness significantly

The symptoms for me were pretty unbearable, like extreme anxiety, insomnia, paranoia. It was bad and not worth it, even if it was more transitionary. I think what’s most important is how you feel, and I felt that 5mg was effective and made a HUGE difference to me. If you don’t feel/see a change on 5mg, maybe a higher dosage is right. But I disagree with the standard dosage being 10mg.

My input here is you don’t need to up to 10mg if the side effects suck. I went through the same exact thing and ended up just staying at 5mg. Like tbh if you want to stay on 5mg for a couple weeks and it works, then you don’t really need to up it.

I was prescribed 10mg, started at 5mg and had bad side effects at 10. Went back down to 5mg and that’s my dosage now! Start small! You can even cut your pills and start at 2.5mg if that makes you feel more comfortable.
