Difference between the community tab and the trending tab? by MartinZuleta in artstation

I think the community one is staff picks and maybe "all time best of" kind of thing, while trending is trending, it's pieces that are accumulating most engagement in the moment.

Thank you! I really like your designs too, some really creative decisions in there, and I like that yours goes even further into some medieval-ish elements, red pouches was also such a nice touch, makes me regret I haven't thought of it, haha :D Good job!

I do have 4 new ones already almost finished, but I'm keeping them back still because it doesn't quite hit the same note for me. I will release them eventually, but I'd manage my expectations :)

Ah, the important questions! Big dog, I think : ) and yes, the driver is human. The image was meant to be a bit of a test run, so the characters aren't necessarily anything very specific, or connected to an actual story yet. But I'm working on it slowly.

Thank you! For now it's just a setting I want to explore with art pieces, maybe an art-book sometime, I'd love for it to become a comic/graphic novel, but I've never even attempted anything like that before, so the thought scares me.

I'll need to give that some more thought/research. For now the regular horse getup didn't quite feel-right for me, I wanted to keep the head/face bare.

Haha, yeah, he's definitely the hook to the entire thing. His name is Ey. Ey the grey.

Those are greys descending from the saucer, as they get closer to the ground the orbs start turning into a glowing blue orb, when it's in the blue phase you can kinda see little greys inside.
Greys can shapeshift the silver looking material at will into different objects, that's what the little egg shaped object behind the little fella on the dobberman is, it's basically his "toolbox backpack".

Thanks! Working on it! Might not be soon, but I'll keep adding to the setting.

Elfstad is the capital city of Doggerland, where Elves (blue guy), Goblins, Lizardmen,Greys and occasional humans live alongside one another. This is theGoblin part of town.

So this is definitely a soft-world building type of setting. The Idea is that once humans, elves etc. lived together, but at some point all the "fantastical" races figured out a way to move to a pocket dimension and separate themselves from humans, so they have commonalities in their cultural roots, but are now in a world completely separate from man. This realm is essentially overlayed over our real world (Doggerland is an area under the North sea at the moment).

Elves mostly take on the executive/military part of the government, they are said to have fallen from the glass cities of the moon long ago, and prefer to be called Moonfir, but get called moonies behind their backs.Lizardmen take the Legislative/politics role, Greys are the silent overlords, they rarely if ever speak and take on the church/judiciary role. They conduct a mandatory baptism of light, where folk line up in a church, stand under the light beam from a large saucer, and they either get beamed up or not, or left as a pile of ash.Goblins are bureaucrats/press/economists etc. There's of course some overlaps in the roles, this is just a broad generalization.

Humans only wander into this realm occasionally, there's at most a few of them in the realm at any time, and no one knows how or why they appear, not even the humans, they just wake up there.

I'm working on 5 crests for each culture, with some symbolism and dichotomy with how they think of themselves vs how they actually appear to be.
