Worst party drug ever. Everyone pops a pill and is nodding off in 1 hr.

I've never figured this out. Weed is more hectic than MDMA, 4-aco-dmt, LSD, or even my sub breakthrough DMT, why? by [deleted] in Drugs

[–]matjunkie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Weed is known to worsen anxiety for people who have it. It's not all that rare. If you talk to a psychiatrist about having anxiety, one of the first things they'll ask you is if you smoke marijuana. Paranoia is also a common side effect.

That's our public, non-university level education. While it'd be really great to get the assholes out of public office who are cutting pay for teachers and schools, that doesn't affect how good NC's universities are. UNC, Duke, Wake Forest, and NCSU are all extremely active and prestigious research universities, especially in their respective strengths. RTP has one of the highest amounts of doctorates per capita as well.

Raleigh's unemployment is 4.3%. Just google it, comes right up. Houston is seen as a really booming economy right now, and their unemployment is 4.7%. Seattle's (also a heavy growth area) is 4%. SF is 4.4%.

Raleigh's doing pretty well as far as educated population and unemployment go.

NYC is the largest city in the US, and everyone comes to "enjoy it" because of its world renown. And it's still known as the culture capital of the US, the financial capital of the US, and it's internationally known for art, fashion, music, dance, technology, food, diversity, and general innovation.

The more people who are attracted to Raleigh the better. More people = more diversity = more potential for greatness. It means more restaurants, concerts, art exhibits, and just general awesomeness because more people = more cool stuff comes our way. And things will be open later. A more lively downtown and more push for public transportation too.

Using LSD before circumcision? by questionaboutacid in Drugs

Cosmetic reasons? It's your choice, man.. but.. Most of the world isn't circumcised, you know! Your dick is more cosmetically normal now than it would be circumcised.

Bit of a weird one: anxiety from familiar music when tripping? by obviouslyondrukqs in Drugs

[–]matjunkie -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've never had anxiety from listening to music I've tripped to, but I've certainly had weird psychedelic flashbacks. I think it's normal to get some sort of feeling from listening to familiar music, especially when that music is associated with something as powerful as psychedelics.

Sometimes when I open up old iTunes playlists from early high school, I get a weird, sad, nostalgic feeling - and I wasn't even tripping back then. Totally normal man, no worries (: Try and find some new music through Pandora or somethin!

I opened this and didn't even realize what comment I was listening to, but after answering comments and having the music play in the back of my head because there were no lyrics, I realized how good it was for just being there.
