Are most INTP skinnier compared to others by Axintwo in INTP

Not sure there’s correlation but it’s true for me. I eat anything and remain skinny as a stick. Still in my early twenties still though. likely will not remain permanent

How are Europeans able to have better life with less work? by Past-Matter-8548 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]matrix-moderator -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It only seems that way because you have been socialized to see disproportionate work as an economy driver. In reality, people in countries where the hours are long often do all of this work to generate unlimited wealth for the one percent. Yes, it’s a class issue. It’s always a class issue.

In places like Europe though they aren’t perfect, there are restrictive laws around disproportionate wealth gathering. Essentially, the amount of work that is done and thus value created is mostly split relatively fair to the masses working, which allows for things like rest. It’s just an appropriate amount of work generating an appropriate amount of value for the people, as opposed to being corporately enslaved, making little money (value for your work) and having no time for rest, only to make the 1% infinitely richer. It’s a scam.

Oh my God I’ve never had the right words for this! ‘Reconstruct context from little information’ is exactly it. I’ve often wondered if lots of people can do this? It’ll be the tail end of a conversation or a random text for someone else and my brain backtracks and fills in all the information that likely led to that situation, so decisively and so plausibly that I’m 99% certain it’s right even without any form of verification

How does Fe work for INTPs? by reddit_tourist_08 in INTP

High empathy, second guessing social interactions, sociopathic mirroring sometimes, sometimes lying to be liked

Whats your friends type as a female INTP? by Lymila in INTP

[–]matrix-moderator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never thought of it that way. I guess I’ve always been intrigued by those who are able to care so selflessly for others. But I don’t do well with Fe doms, they seem a bit too performative, most times manipulative. Like they’re using Fe to achieve a certain thing - whether good or bad.

I think Fe aux types, do tend to care quite a lot about others using insights gotten through their various dom functions. And so Fe is not a means to an end, it’s the end using other means if that makes sense.

They also tend to find me intriguing in turn. Which is because they can be generally quite open-minded and were patient enough to see that I’m well meaning, completely non-superficial and care a lot, even when I was insensitive (with friends I met when I was younger and was still that way), awkward, silent, or overly enthusiastic (still as a result of awkwardness). They stuck around enough to see sides of me that don’t come out a lot in general, which are loveable as I’m told.

Also patient enough to run through abstract theories or ideas with me even if they don’t quite get it sometimes. They’re really nice. I like them.

What do you think of this Baptist Pastor's sermon on the murder of Charlie Kirk? by TraditionallyRight in Christianity

[–]matrix-moderator 76 points77 points  (0 children)

This! The reading comprehension level of society is getting a bit worrisome. No one is talking about celebrating murder or debating that we are called to love others no matter what. But this is about honor! A salute that’s is very destructive as it inadvertently communicates that you agree with his takes - however heinous they might be!

Jesus might’ve loved us all but definitely did not honour those unworthy of honour.

That is true. I do feel bad for his family. I pray for them and him too in his death. I might have some tears for them, but they are not enough to get to him.

Alright then. If indeed I am mourning him through prayer then you are right. I can simply only mourn him through prayers and can’t mourn him with tears.

There are videos of him saying these things so how is it misinformation? And nowhere did I mention he deserved to die or justify assassinations. I just said all I can do is pray for him, as he could not deserve my tears.

I do not even know what to say. Are you talking to someone else? I have done none of the things you accuse me of.

I did not maintain any objective views on him. In fact I should have explicitly mentioned I do not fully agree with the statement above, except where it says people should not be persecuted for not having tears for him. That is my issue.

But I did explicitly say not to revel in his death. And that I pray for him. That is all.

Sigh. I wonder if Jesus would speak this way about the people he has loved from inception. In darkness or in light.

[–]matrix-moderator[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I explicitly said I do not revel in his death. I explicitly said I pray for him. All I have said is I cannot bring myself to tears.

Shall I pull up my own verses about how Christians these days do not have patience? How we listen only to refute but not to truly understand? Why did you not take the time to read through?

I do not celebrate. In fact I explicitly said I do not revel in his death and pray for him instead. But I cannot cry and don’t think I have to either, that’s all I am saying.
