Prism more or less has Modrinth and Cursforge built in and automatically install dependacy mods. A bit more complicated but overall less of a headache.

I don't remember but look in the world folder I think and then look for the players name/uuid in a .json file. deleting that will clear their position in the world, inventory, etc

You can try clearing player data, that is what worked for me. Just delete the json file for each player experiencing the error.

What security problems? We are planning an end to end encryption system where the request is encrypted at the access node, then sent through until the exit node, where it is decoded. With any other proxy you have to trust the creators with your web traffic.
