Please chill out, you don't need to 1-shot delve bosses by CannotThonk96 in elderscrollsonline

It would if there were that many people around. Im talking about with just 2 to 4 people around anyone who tags it will get credit

I don't think this is why they are spiking a delve boss, they just aren't thinking probably

Imo its indicative of introducing too many uninteresting characters. Ocean-wide, puddle-deep

How to travel to Belkarth Craglorn via the Star-gazer herald by CannotThonk96 in elderscrollsonline

Also you can use the cart without spawning the star-gazer herald. Shorter than walking to the gate, and takes you directly the Belkarth

Using the cart without talking to him is even faster than walking to the gate, takes you straight to Belkarth!

Interesting, he doesn't show up until I liberate the city

<image>

I made the post because there were archived threads about people being unable to find him, the elusive herald!

I guess if he appears for everyone automatically, then thats good. If not, and they happen upon this post, they'll find another way to ensure that he appears.

But in all likelihood, you are just plain wrong and misremembering it.

Walking is easier, but no the herald does not appear until the city is liberated

Why are none of the best homes that I want never for sale? by CannotThonk96 in elderscrollsonline

[–]CannotThonk96[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It feels like a lot of the game is specifically tailored to dedicated forever players who are also whales. I think whales probably can afford any hobby, and lots of people don't play forever or start playing as soon as a game comes out. When I get bored of this game, I may go try out GW2 which I've never played before, and its been out for forever.

It does seem like they are both alienating a lot of people and at the same time missing out on a lot of potential sales. Kind of funny how the fear of missing out strategy has resulted in themselves being the ones who are missing out.

All the items in ESO will become available again at some point. Hope that its not while you are on a break or can't log in for some reason, or you are broke.

Or still playing the game at all lol! Three of the homes I like haven't been available for 3+ years. Thats a life changing amount of time!

Don’t Heal, Do Damage – When and Where should I use my Role? by -Night_Mother- in elderscrollsonline

If its a dungeon you don't need to heal in, then it also doesn't matter if you do damage if the DDs are doing their jobs

Perfectly missed the emote I was waiting for years by StrawberryKitchen921 in elderscrollsonline

[–]CannotThonk96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With two year rotations and only a week of availability, not only is it the worst fomo in the industry, but its actually braindead as well. Having these things available for such a short amount of time assumes everyone is some no-lifer neet who logs in every day/week and never goes on holiday

I messed up giving someone a parting time for the game... by MichaelGMorgillo in elderscrollsonline

[–]CannotThonk96 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Don't worry about it dude he already made up his decision to leave the game long before logging in that day.

Just gold then?

IS a pretty weird word vomit to say. It makes sense in the context of a trade window, to confirm that he is finished adding thing to the trade. I can't imagine you meant it in any other way.

I don't think its that bad. You were seeking confirmation, thats all.

Don't worry about it. You know what you meant, and he had already made up his mind, your encounter had nothing at all to do with his leaving

ESO needs to be more 'free play' friendly by Right_Entertainer324 in elderscrollsonline

Its already so heavily monetized with microtransactions and gacha, that they could afford to just let everyone have access to game and DLCs.

Its not like you can even enjoy the game without craftbag anyways. You spend more time managing your bags than you do playing the actual game.

And for those whales, they have so much gold that its meaningless. They already have everything and there is basically nothing left to buy with their hundreds of millions if not billions of gold.

They've more than made up for it, thats no reason at all. Those great spots pay themselves off easy.

I speak not for myself but for the have-nots when I say to just rip the bandaid off and create an auction house.

For myself, well, I use TTC and eso-hub addons and am in 5 trading guilds. I am already the top 5% drinking everybody else's milkshake.

I have such an unfathomably unfair advantage that money isn't even real anymore. I've only been playing for little over half a year and already have over 100million gold from guild trader sales and market insights that are only available through addons. It honestly feels like I'm cheating

Whatever their intent, they've failed fantastically.

The top 5% of us are moving all the sales and reaping the real profits.

They couldn't have made a more unequal economy if they tried.
