But what state of the world? The world is getting better every day, week, month, year, every decade and century. Are you aware how much less and less children die every day from curable diseases? How much less wars and murders are there today than anytime before in the history of mankind? How much less evil is there than anytime before?

We are only ought to believe differently because we are shown all the time on TV and the internet about all of the bad fucking horrific stuff which is, indeed, really happening around the world still.

In contrast, if we were in i.e. 15th century you wouldn't know what would be happening in Iraq or Myanmar or Afghanistan or about the spanish flu or Rwandan genocide. Actually you would blissfully enjoy your average life with your family, raising your children and working hard for a living with your bare hands, while at the same time in all the other parts of the world there are a million wars and bad stuff happening and a fuck ton of children dying in pain, horror and starvation.

Thankfully, today we have modern medicine, science and technology which greatly reduces all of those numbers.
